    you must have a bad one.I own a gx-20 and the image quality is even better than the D300.you’re probably using crap lenses.

    i have a samsung gx-20 anyone thinking of buying one have to say dont the lcd screen is crap the pictures comes blur when you zoom in to them plus in bulb mode if you hold your finger down and keep the shutter open for one minute thats how long it will thke for the picture to process bulb mode works that way every time you take a picture. ps anyone want to buy a good camera its like new ;)

    I disagree the dismissive conclusion. I have a GX20 and a Canon 40D. I prefer the GX20. D300 costs a lot more yet has less res, no better IQ, is not rainproof like the the GX20, no lenses adjust FF/BF, no pixel remap, no OIS lens stabiliser (which works well). The K20D (GX20′s twin) got Highly Recommended on DPReview as did the costly D300. K20D/GX20 has access to all Pentax huge range of lenses as well as Sigma, Tamron and Tokina’s. It lacks for nowt against the D300. D300′s LCD is better.
